SENIORS CLASSES STARTS 8TH APRIL

TAI CHI (Seniors)

Tai chi is a series of gentle physical exercises and stretches. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion. Tai chi is sometimes described as meditation in motion because it promotes serenity through gentle movements — connecting the mind and body.

SILVER SNEAKERS (Seniors)

Silver Sneakers is a low impact workout to slightly increase your heart rate. Focusing on improving your stamina and reducing joint strain, this class is a low intensity class that is aimed at over 55's who want to introduce physical activity into their daily routine.

FLEX and FLOW (Seniors)

FLEX AND FLOW is a fusion of body weight exercises combining stretches and mobility movements, emphasising on breath and core conditioning to build strength, stability and flexibility as well as improving body awareness. Some classes will incorporate props including rings, balls, resistance bands ect. Core strength is the powerhouse of all movements, so this class is beneficial for all our bodies. All levels catered for.

YOUNG AT HEART (Seniors)

Discover vitality in our Young at Heart strength class for seniors. Our program focuses on gentle exercises, strength training and fostering a supportive community. Embrace mobility, stability, balance and resilience while cultivating inner peace through mindful practices. Our inclusive environment fosters connections, laughter and encouragement, ensuring you feel motivated and valued. Join us to unlock a vibrant life where age is just a number and the heart remains forever young.

BODY BLAST

BODY BLAST class is a fast-paced workout that focuses on functional resistance training to strengthen your heart and muscles. It is designed to improve your overall fitness, increase muscular strength, and boost your endurance.

STRENGTH CIRCUIT

STRENGTH CIRCUIT is an intense group workout, including both cardio and strength training. It gives you the most effective full body workout within a 60-minute period. With this high intensity class, you can work your entire body and meet your health and fitness goals. It is designed to include all fitness levels.

MAT PILATES

MAT PILATES is a great option for beginners as it emphasizes on learning to control your muscles during exercise. The health benefits of Pilates include improved flexibility, increased muscle strength and tone particularly abdominal muscles, lower back, hips and buttocks (the ‘core muscles’ of your body) and balanced muscular strength on both sides of the body. Pilates can aid in flexibility and improving posture and relieving stress by boosting your mood and conditioning your whole body.

TOTAL BODY TONE

Combining cardio and strength workout to provide a balanced training. This class is split into two sections. The first being a great cardio routine to get your heart rate up and the second section will tone and strengthen your whole body.

BOX FIT

A high energy contact boxing class using a mix of free-standing bags and focus pads. This boxing class has something for everyone and is suitable for all fitness levels. Utilising punching and kicking combinations this class will leave you energised and stress free.

High Intensity Interval Training - HIIT

High Intensity Interval Training is a cardiovascular exercise strategy alternating short bursts of high intensity (or max intensity) anaerobic exercise with less intense recovery periods of low intense activity, repeated. Designed to get maximum results in a short period of time. This class will take your fitness to the next level.

SPIN

Join us on an indoor cycling track for some sprints, hill climbs, jumps and flat road cycling. This session is guaranteed to make you sweat, burn some calories and increase your cardio stamina. Take your cardiovascular health to the next level with this intermediate class.

YOGA

In this class, postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement. Full-body relaxation and balance are the goals, as we make a full circuit of the body’s range of motion with standing postures, twists, backbends, forward folds, and hip openers.

GLUTES and CORE

Looking for a great butt and toned legs? This is a all-round exercise class is specifically designed to tone up the mid-section and the lower body muscles. Featuring a mix of aerobics, step work, circuit training and resistance band exercises.

PUMP

Resistance is the key. Unlock your potential with this barbell class to music. Resistance training assists in building lean muscle mass, sliming and toning your muscles ultimately resulting in weight loss and achieving the shape you are looking for. This session uses barbell, free weights, steps to work your lower and upper body to fatigue with high repetition moves.

LATIN DANZ CARDIO

It's like Zumba but better! In this class we do basic steps and fun variations of following Latin dances: Salsa, Samba, Cha Cha, Rumba and Bachata. It's a fun, dance, exercise class. Learn a dance routine whilst increasing your heart rate and burning those calories. This is a workout for both the mind and body.

POWER STEP

POWER STEP is a super fun and energetic workout designed to shape your body from head to toe. A combination of high and low intensity to push your cardio, strengthen the heart, assist bone density, improve co-ordination and tone the body in every step you take.
